There are restaurants that look good and taste good. This is the rare restaurant that looks good & tastes unbelievable. The taste of the grilled bread of the avacado toast is unapproachable. Well if you read this I ruined the surprise for you. It is that much better than you expect. Farm to stomach!
Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food which was top tier. It was all seasoned perfectly. The service was prompt and professional. The corn dip was obviously hand crafted with love, and not processed. Ambiance was appropriate for a dinner setting and I found the tables to be incredibly appropriate in their spacing. Great job Publick House!
Came here for dinner on Saturday, September 14. Our server Eric was OUTSTANDING! He was so attentive and thorough. I ordered the shrimp & grits and had the Peachy With It cocktail. Everything was delicious!! This photo doesn’t capture how HUGE the shrimp were. My husband ordered the burger with truffle fries and he loved it! Everyone at our table-8 of us in all-enjoyed their meal.
Came here for their burger, I heard good things about it. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! The menu looks lovely. I will definitely be back to give it a try. Welp, I went back! Had a few delicious Old Fashions, some Salmon Crudo, clams, squid, and Fish &Chips. All very good. The squid a little over cooked. I would definitely go back😊
Celebrated my birthday yesterday evening at Publick House after it was recommended to us by one of my coworkers, and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious, it is such a cozy, fun spot, and the service was warm and attentive (thanks to our kind, welcoming server, Fred!!). We will absolutely be back!
First visit to Publick House!! Made reservations day prior- only availability was 515pm or after 8pm We arrived for 515pm OMG! The amazing aroma of deliciousness as we walked on the sidewalk to enter the restaurant! Great vibes and energy!! Warmly greeted and seated! Awesome music selection! Our Server Fred C was fantastic! He knew the menu well. Answered our questions! Appreciated his recommendations! Absolutely loved my LET'S GET FIGGY cocktail— WITH IT FIGENZA FIG VODKA, ELDERFLOWER, LEMON, CINNAMON!! Cheers!!! As we waited for our appetizers, entrees and dessert- Saw the other Servers bringing out beautifully plated food and so aromatic! Enjoyed my shrimp and grits, GNUDI FRIED RICOTTA DUMPLING, CHORIZO & CORN DIP!! The truffle fries were yummy! The FLAN NAPOLITANO was the perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience! When we got our check, even though we were in the dining area- we got happy hour pricing for some of the items we ordered! Nice!! We will definitely be back!! Keep up the great service and amazing food and cocktails!!
This place is on the expensive side, even during their happy hour, but they were great! We split the chorizo dip which was amazing, and I had the arugula salad which was great- but I would have loved some more toppings added in there. Overall it was very nice and I’d definitely come back!
We found Publick House about five years ago after my wife saw an Instagram post of some fries that looked too good to pass up. We went once and got hooked. Ever since, this place has never disappointed. The service, the food, the drinks, everything is consistently excellent. The bar is impressive with a wide selection of spirits, rums, beers, and more. The burger is one of the best I have ever had and the duck dishes are full of flavor. During the summer they open the patio terrace and serve a variety of brunch plates and drinks. They also rotate the menu every few months which keeps things fresh and exciting. If you are anywhere near the area and want a reliable spot with amazing food and great vibes, Publick House is a must. I totally recommend it.
The service and food was amazing !! Sydney was our waitress. She was great. Very energetic and gave us a great recommendation for desert.
First time at Publik House and I was pleased with my experience! I went in a Thursday night and the spot was packed but I was seated without issues. Great vibes & friendly atmosphere. For dinner I ordered the burger with truffle fries, both good on flavors. Also ordered the brisket and this was a generous portion. It can be shared for sure! I’ll definitely dine here again!
